Wedding Pictures at Holy Name Chicago

While every church in Chicago is uniquely beautiful in its own way, the Gothic structure of Holy Name Cathedral stands as one of the most popular wedding ceremony venues for Chicago Catholics. Both its interior and exterior designs are simply stunning and make you think you are entering a church in Rome rather than downtown Chicago.

While the church does offer its services to registered parishioners who wish to get married there, they also have some strict guidelines for wedding vendors. For instance, photographers are not allowed to walk down the aisle during the procession. Luckily, I am well experienced in respecting the church’s rules and am able to capture great wedding photographs of the ceremony without getting in the priest’s way.  Also, some couples are surprised to learn that they are not able to take group photographs before or after the ceremony on the alter.  Fear not!  As a Chicago wedding photographer, I will be sure to find a great location to take some classic Chicago wedding pictures so you can focus on having fun on your wedding day.
