Give me a dining room and a window and I’m happy. There is really nothing better than great light and a well designed room for bridal pictures. I started pictures with Brittany at her house before we went over to St Michael Parish in Wheaton. There was a short amount of time for bridal party pictures at the St. Charles Country Club but we managed to get quite a few fun shots. I had to include a pictures of the h’ordeuvres. The Country Club did an amazing job with the food prep.
I met Elizabeth and the girls at the Danada House in Wheaton for their getting ready pictures. What a great spot to get ready. There is a ton of great light and some fun places to shoot. With perfect light and great patterns on the wall you can take your pick of black and white or color images. My favorite image of the morning actually came from the bathroom. I’m not going to lie, it took me a few minutes to figure out how I was going to explain to Elizabeth that we pretty much had to shoot pictures in the bathroom. 99% of my brides will do just about anything I ask when it comes to pictures. This however was even a stretch for me. Her response, “just tell me what to do.” I quickly followed with, “just lean over on the toilet.” So the question, would you lean on a toilet for this first shot?
