I have shot a number of weddings with Berghoff Catering. I promise their food tastes as good as it looks. I have worked with Justin Snodgrass, a Berghoff account executive on numerous occasions. He is impeccable when it comes to every last detail during dinner. I always appreciate working with another vendor that actually adheres to a set schedule. It’s not often that I get to post a wedding full of family members to show off to everyone. I was beyond excited when Chicago Style Unveiled decided to feature Dan and Nikki’s wedding in their Real Weddings section. My wife, the boys, nephews and all the in laws are scattered throughout the selection. Ty definitely got a kick out of seeing his picture on the internet. For those of you that are wondering, yes this wedding was in Milwaukee. It is however not that far from Chicago and we all live here. That said Milwaukee is a great town and an unbelievable place to shoot a wedding. The Grain Exchange and Intercontinental were only a start to all the great locations.

For the cupcakes lovers…place an order! The cupcakes are unbelievable. After sampling a few cupcakes we did a shoot for Daily Candy Kids.

As some of you know Sue and I have 2 crazy little boys. Our world is full of constant laughs, critter camps, dirt, hitting, broken bones, soccer, broken windshields, and a lot more craziness. As I type this the boys are treating me like a jungle gym. Admittedly, walking in to Alex’s closet full of dresses is a completely foreign world to me. Leslie, (mom) has impeccable taste. We easily moved from room to room finding spots for Alex’s different outfits.

We had a great 4th of July. It was actually the first 4th I haven’t had a wedding in 8 years. Don’t worry I had a wedding on the 3rd. It’s been a while since I’ve taken pictures for fun so I thought I would post some shots of the boys at the Wheaton parade. We ended the day at our new lot where we hope to have a house up some time after Christmas. July 4th party at our house next year!
