The power of Facebook connected me with Adam and Kristin. I’m so glad Jen, a friend from back in my Drum Corps days sent my info to them. The bride and groom to be, or as you will see in a few shots, Mr. and Mrs., live in Indianapolis. I love to travel, so I was of course excited to shoot their wedding and engagement pictures out of town. They picked the Lilly Mansion and Gardens for one of our locations for engagement pictures. What an awesome spot. I could shoot there all day. After that we did a little hunting in downtown Indianapolis. Since I’m used to driving in Chicago I couldn’t believe how quiet downtown was. We had our pick of just about any spot we wanted to shoot. I’m definitely looking forward to returning for their wedding next May.
Shoots: Engagement Movies
What a great Sunday afternoon for a shoot. We started at David and Jen’s new house and worked our way through the city. I was definitely grateful for the Starbucks stop!

Shedd Aquarium – The steps out front and around the back make for an interesting background
Michigan Avenue – What could be better than shooting on Michigan Ave in Chicago?
