We can’t wait to have Nikki back in Chicago. She is finishing up her fellowship in Pharmacy in Milwaukee. The humidity is finally back in Chicago so we hit the Chicago Lake Front in the beginning of the session. We ended down by the Wrigley building. It doesn’t get much better than Chicago for a night time session!
I met Jean and Michael at a wedding last November. We’ve talked so much since then shooting their engagement session was more like walking around the city with good friends. I can’t wait for their wedding in October.
I met Jessica and Mark at their home in Chicago last week. I was of course aware of their 160lbs Mastiff, Buckley. But his size really didn’t set in until walked in the house. He’s a big baby! Some of my favorite shots came from them all hanging out on the bed!
It seems hard to believe that we had a sunny day in Chicago in the last few weeks, but we had the perfect weather day for Robin and Andrew. They are returning to quite a busy schedule. Robin will be will be starting a Masters program at UNI and Andrew will be starting Medical School at the University of Iowa. Their wedding was at St Mark’s Episcopal Church and the reception was at the Eagle Brook Country Club.
If you’re into color you will love this wedding. The ladies are in blue and brown. The orange flowers really pop next to the dresses. I’m glad the bridal party was up for some walking as we toured downtown Des Plaines. Thanks for a smooth wedding day Rebecca @BigCityBride
Piotr and I flew out to San Francisco to shoot my brother’s wedding two weeks ago. It was as odd for me shooting and participating, but fun at the same time. It really meant a lot to me to be able to shoot and also be the best man. The Blackhawk Museum couldn’t be more fitting for my brother, the ex-race car mechanic. What a great place to shoot! And yes Amanda, you will make the wall at the studio!
As most of you know I live on my Iphone. Part of this is thanks to Rubis Business Solutions. With Google Apps I was able to streamline collaboration and communication between my two studios. If you have email, document collaboration, or scheduling issues, it would be well worth it to contact Rubis Business Solutions.
